Are you hosting an event and are worried about what to make for dessert? Considering how to eliminate allergens in your baking can be kind of intimidating. Will everyone like what I make? Should I make things without specific allergens and make other desserts as I normally would?
Well, there’s a simple solution to this problem! Save yourself the hassle and make simple desserts everyone can enjoy. I have put together a list of 10 dessert recipes that I found to be very easy to follow and more importantly delicious!
1. 4-Ingredient Almond Coconut Cookies
This Recipe is: Dairy-Fee, Gluten-Free, and Vegan
What you’ll need:
- unsweetened coconut flakes
- dark chocolate chips – You can use mini or regular chocolate chips. I like the Enjoy Life brand (free of gluten and 14 allergens), which has both mini/normal & semisweet/dark chocolate chips.
- salted almonds
- sweetened condensed coconut milk – You can make your own or use the Let’s Do Organic Brand.

2. Strawberry Pretzel Squares
This Recipe is: Dairy Free and Gluten-Free
What you’ll need:
- Pretzels – I prefer Snyder’s Gluten-Free Pretzels
- Sugar
- Butter
- Cream Cheese – I was a CREAM CHEESE LOVER before I became intolerant to dairy and I have tried Daiya’s dairy-free option and it’s not too bad!
- Milk alternative
- Whipped topping – non-dairy coconut
- JELL-O Strawberry Flavored
- Fresh Strawberries

3. Chocolate Mousse
This Recipe is: Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Nut-Free
What you’ll need:
- Chocolate Chips/Chunks – you can use the recommend brand above or another favorite.
- Coconut Whipped Cream – you can also used the recommended brand above or make your own.

4. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
This Recipe is: Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free
What you’ll need:
- Gluten-Free Flour – The recommended flour for this recipe is Better Batter Gluten-Free Flour
- Pumpkin
- Coconut Oil
- Chocolate Chips
- Other Ingredients: eggs, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

5. Vanilla Cake with Summer Berries
This Recipe is: Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free, and Vegan
What you’ll need:
- Plain Gluten-Free Flour Blend – a simple store-bought blend of rice, potato, and maize flour OR Bob’s Red Mill GF Flour & 1-1 baking flour (which already includes xanthan gum)
- Xanthan Gum
- Milk Alternative
- Berries of Choice:
- Other Ingredients: sugar, vegetable oil, salt, baking powder, baking soda, lemon (zest/juice), coconut cream, powdered sugar, vanilla paste (or extract)

6. Carrot Cake Donuts
This Recipe is: Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, and Vegan
What you’ll need:
- Fine Sorghum Flour or Fine Brown Rice Flour
- Flaxseed
- Carrots
- Dairy-free Cream Cheese
- Other Ingredients: baking powder, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, milk alternative, brown sugar, olive oil, vanilla extract, powdered sugar

What you’ll need:
- Graham Cracker Pie Crust – I have used Mi-Del in the past for other recipes!
- Dairy-free Cream Cheese
- Powdered sugar
- Peanut Butter
- Milk Alternative
- Coconut Whipped Cream

- Granny Smith Apples
- All-purpose Gluten-free Flour – I have used the Bob’s Red Mill 1-1 previously mentioned
- Brown Sugar
- Gluten-free Quick Oats – I use Bob’s Red Mill Old Fashioned Rolled Oats –> (Oats are naturally gluten-free, but they are typically processed with other products that contain gluten)
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Butter
